The PJ's Pets Story

The need for a different kind of pet store inspired our founder to create PJ's in 1969. His vision: a pet store that put the health and happiness of pets first and provided Canadians with quality products in a clean, bright, welcoming environment. For the last forty years PJ's has been doing just that.

PJ's is a Canadian owned and operated company with 21 stores in the provinces of Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia. We proudly employ over 600 Canadians and support dozens of Canadian pet product manufacturers, distributors and breeders.

But, the best part about our story is that it is full of new beginnings. Everyday across Canada, we unite people with an animal they will love and cherish for years to come.
