To provide our Customers with a selection of healthy puppies and kittens and to educate them on all aspects of pet care in a comfortable and caring environment with knowledgeable and well-trained Pet Care Specialists.

These objectives help us accomplish our Mission:

1) Outstanding Veterinary Program for all puppies and kittens at the breeder and in our stores.

2) Provide the best warranty health program for every puppy and kitten.

3) Encourage a team-oriented approach in providing our customers with outstanding service.

4) Select puppies and kittens from inspected kennels and those that follow CVMA guidelines for kennel practices.

5) Provide detailed training and coaching for our Pet Care Team.

Our Availability

We have been bringing puppies and families together for over 35 years and look forward to assisting you at any of our Ontario locations.

Our selection includes your favorites such as Yorkshire Terriers, Shih Tzus, Golden and Labrador Retrievers, Pomeranians, Maltese, and many more.

We also specialize in designer percentage pets such as your favorite Poodle mixes (shih poos, cock-a-poos and goldendoodles), Linnois, Catamaners, Jack-a-pugs and many more.

PJ's Pets is always striving to meet our Customers' needs. We are proud to offer a PET RECORD for our percentage puppies through United Pet Records of Canada. This is the first time in Canada a pet retailer can provide an official record for percentage pets to certify the authenticity of the pet's parentage.

(The cost of this record is $35 and delivery takes 4-8 weeks.)

Where do our puppies come from?

We have a group of dedicated Canadian breeders that have been working together for more than 15 years. Their passion is dogs and they're dedicated to their dogs full-time. The dogs live in the house or in a kennel beside the house. The dogs are loved and cherished throughtout their lifetimes.

Our Mission

To breed dogs first for temperament, genetic health and then conformation by following all guidelines for good breeding practices and have happy and healthy puppies.

In addition, a small percentage of specialized puppies are imported from the States and Europe. These suppliers are scrutinized by State By-Law officers, Agriculture Canada, Representatives of our Company and our Breeder Program Manager.

PJ's Puppy Warranty Information

Our puppies come from kennels that follow the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) Guidelines for Kennel Practices.

We have a Veterinary Technician who visits the kennels periodically to conduct inspections for our Company to
ensure that all Guidelines are being followed.

All our puppies come with a 2 year health warranty for maximum coverage up to $2000 or $3000 for hereditary/congenital birth defect and the treatment for an illness attributed to the kennel environment. The Customer is required to take their new pet to a Veterinarian of their choice for a physical examination within 5 days from the date of purchase.

In addition to our extensive warranty coverage we recommend all pet owners to invest in pet insurance as most illnesses and accidents are unforeseeable.
